“Increasing our felt perception of reality invites us to properly assess whether or not the way our society is currently operating sustainably supports human life.” - Etiange D.

My Service

I am a Somatic Educator, Wellness Enthusiast, Artist, Writer, and Mystic who interweaves the tools of trauma-informed somatics, movement, relationship, nature, art, esoterics, and food in my practice to help women seeking emotional, mental, physical, and/or spiritual support and guidance through the trauma, transitions, or transformations of one’s life. I help clients to remember their own power to traverse the unknown and embrace a lifestyle of conscious relationship with oneself, and others.

Roots + Intentions

I have been working with the body, mind, and spirit for the past 18 years. Born and raised in Harlem, NYC, my family originates from the country of Cote d’Ivoire, of West Africa. From training as a professional dancer in world renowned schools located in NYC and LA, teaching Pilates, studying Ayurveda and Yogic Philosophy, to self-studying Traditional and Vedic astrology, bioenergetics, and esoteric studies for 12 years, and trained as a Somatic Educator with the Somatic Institute For Women, my life’s journey has led me to understand the inner workings of the body, the mind, and the spirit and how mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual unrest can be translated through the body by way of pain, sickness, emotion, disease, and the lack of understanding what these communicate. My father and mother both had their unique ways of showing me that body language and health of the body can share a thousand words, as well as the gifts that have been restored from my ancestral lineage. In an age where many people are dealing with mental illness, emotional dysregulation and overwhelm, a desire to “transcend” or “leave the body”, and adopting a “mind over heart” lifestyle, it has become my mission to share that it is safe to be in our bodies, in fact it is WHOLE to accept the body as a part of our experience as not only does it strive to protect us, but it strives to be in deep relationship with us and is a direct connection to relationship with our ancestors, and the energy beyond. This provides us with an immense foundation of clarity of whom we are, where we are coming from, and where we can go, without seeking comparisons or the paths of another. This also allows us to connect with one another with presence, which is what humans need at our core: connection. My journey lies in unifying, the mind, body, and spirit as one unique experience that is a person, therefore strengthening and unifying what it means to be in right relationship with ourselves, our families, and our communities. I strongly believe that by starting with ourselves, we create ripples in the way we navigate in the world.
